The 100 National Office challenges all chapters to initiate special programming during mentoring month. Eric Collier invited Collegiate 100 students to his home to discuss the topic “Why are you here?” The students were challenged to understand their purpose in life.
The Collegiate 100 capitalized on the 100 hosting the prospective member event at the Spurs game by volunteering. The Collegiate handed out replica championship rings to the Spurs fans. They stuck around for the game and had the opportunity to speak with potential 100 members.
The 100 BMOA invited potential members to the opening night of the Austin Spurs game. We had the opportunity to share our efforts and accomplishments to increase our membership.
Fall 2018 marked the first Collegiate 100 at Huston-Tillotson University. We’re honored to serve these young individuals as they prepare to give back to the community.
The 100 Black Men of Austin partnered with Greater Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church to give out suits to young men in need of a suit at Huston-Tillotson University. Thanks to Dionte McClendon (3rd left), 100 member and GMZ member for coordinating the efforts. 30 suits were handed out to HT students.
