The 100 Supports the Hampton/Tuskegee Alumni Golf Tournament

The 100 Black Men of Austin was the platinum sponsor for the Hampton/Tuskegee Golf Tournament.  Members and partners participated in the golf tournament to support Hampton/Tuskegee Alumni initiatives.  Some include scholarships to attend the HBCUs.  100 Member Douglas Boone was the chair of the alumni committee and we look forward to the continued partnership.

Backpacks for the Homeless

100 members and their families came together on a Sunday afternoon to put items of need in backpacks for the homeless.  Through our partnership with Amazon and the generous donations from Amplify Austin, we were able to provide 60 backpacks that contained wipes, hand sanitizer, underwear, socks, sanitary items, water bottles, hand warmers, and shoes to the homeless. The backpacks were distributed under HWY 183 on Research Boulevard in North Austin.
