The 100 Black Men of Austin Launches the Leadership and Career Initiative for Collegiate 100

The 100 Black Men of Austin launched the inaugural Leadership and Career initiative with the Collegiate 100 at Huston-Tillotson University.  The focus of the initiative is to prepare students to understand the importance of their brand, preparing for their future by obtaining internships, becoming financially savvy, and preparing for the real world post-graduation.

The sessions will focus on;

1. Creating competitive resumes
2. Developing effective elevator pitches and interview etiquette
3. Practicing interview techniques with human resource experts
4. Understanding the Dos and Don’ts on social media
5. Financial Literacy
6. Understanding the transition from college to adulthood
