100 Black Men of Austin visits Samsung Campus

Wesley King, Community Affairs Specialist at Samsung Austin Semiconductor reached out to the 100 to partner with our Black History Month efforts for the Austin community.  As part of our Cultural Competency Initiative, author Chris Singleton came to Austin to read books to 1st and 2nd graders at 3 elementary schools and spoke with high school and college students on his life experiences.  Samsung donated $5,000 to the initiative, which allowed us to purchase 700 books to distribute to all of the 1st and 2nd grade children at the elementary schools.  Thank You Samsung Austin Semiconductor for your generous donation.
